Mona Tractor Company Ltd is a family run business selling and servicing agricultural and ground care machinery. John Jones began the business in 1978 on Anglesey and it has gradually expanded over the years to cover the whole of North Wales, with depots now in Llangefni, Ruthin and Llanystumdwy. Now the whole family are involved, with John’s wife, Susan and son, Huw in the business along with almost 50 members of staff. Together they ensure our valued customers in farming, tourism and leisure get the best products and service in North Wales.
Responsible for administrating service processes to maximize administrative efficiency in the department. Assists the service team in maintaining accurate and on-time reports and records.
- 1.Receives and directs internal and external customer inquiries for the service department.
- 2.Checks work orders before submission to Service manager end customers.
- 3.Maintains service department filing, records and department information.
- 4.Opens work orders as directed by the Outlet Service Manager and maintains control until they are closed and invoiced.
- 5.Coordinates enrolment and follow-up of training attendance as directed.
- 6.May process warranty and/or product improvement claims including the computation of charges, submission, and follow-up.
- 7.May update customer profiles.
- –Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internetfunctions.
- –Bilingual Welsh and English would be an advantage but not essential.
- –Ability to create, analyse and interpretreports.
- –Organisational skills with attention todetail.

Reports To: Depot Service Managers / Depot Parts Manager
Supervises: None
Supports and promotes the dealership’s Precision AG Service delivery by providing hands-on expertise, training of employees, and supporting solution execution. Provides professional phone support as part of relevant services package.
Drives dealer parts and services sales in AOR through selling dealer value, strengthening and leveraging customer relationship, pro-actively offering dealer services and tiered aftermarket portfolio options meeting customer needs to ensure a differentiated customer lifecycle experience.
Focuses on the use of technology and connected support tools as well as customer analytics to drive incremental parts, services, and labour sales with existing and new customer base.
- 1.Provides support for advanced Precision Ag Solutions sales and system troubleshooting.
- 2.Develops and delivers internal and external training for Precision Ag Solutions.
- 3.Supports the execution of the dealership’s FarmSight Services strategy (including machine optimization, job optimization, and agronomic optimization).
- 4.Supports the implementation and deployment of Service Admin Portal (SVAP) tool inside dealership.
- 5.Builds and maintains strong customer relationship and loyalty through regular communication, visits, consultancy on parts and services, and prompt resolution of customer issues involving appropriate functions.
- 6.Collaborates with service department to address customers’ concerns and resolve problems effectively in a timely manner.
- 7.Delivers on new customers’ profiling and acquisition targets.
- 8.Develops, promotes, and sells parts and service offerings such as extended warranty, maintenance plans, service agreements, machine inspections, standard job quotes, overhauls, and special parts promotions.
- 9.Analysis of parts and service purchases of existing customers in dealer business system/CRM and leverages Deere tools to execute on parts and service sales opportunity and to increase aftermarket penetration.
- 10.Supports aftermarket events, delivers training to customers on aftermarket products and solutions at customer clinics, field days, shows, exhibitions, and equipment demos.
- 11.Profiles and maintains an up-to-date customer information in dealer business system/ CRM (contact details, fleet, special requirements, competitive products etc.) and informs other departments on sales opportunity and competitive threats.
- 2+ years of experience in an agriculture-related role.
- Clear understanding of the “commercial aspects” of value-added services.
- Advanced customer relationship skills.
- Good written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical and wireless communication systems, database software and related computer applications (incl. web and mobile applications).
- Pro-active sales mindset and self-motivation to generate sales activities and disciplined customerprospecting.
- Ability to build trustworthy relationship and influence customers.
- High level of communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Positive attitude, high engagement, strong work ethic.

Mechanic
Department: Service
Reports To: Outlet service manager / Team Leader
Supervises: None
Performs diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment including Agricultural machinery and Plant/Construction machinery. Aftermarket sales oriented.
1.Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural or Plant equipment.
2.Completes all reports and administration required for work assignments (job cards – Manufacture reports –time sheets, etc.).
3.Maintains a clean work station, assists with overall workshop organization and correct use of tools and vehicles.
4.Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
5.Participates in Service Training Certification programs required for the development of skills and knowledge.
6.Performs diagnostics and repairs in the field when required.
7.Reports directly to the workshop foreman with clear and accurate communication.
8.Participates in a weekend and/or callout rota.
9.Mentors apprentices.
3+ years experience performing service repairs.
Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following approved technical procedures.
Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to effect the repair of equipment
Ability to use standard computer applications, internet functions and diagnostic equipment.
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
Ability to work in a team environment
Driving license needed
Operator tickets desired but training will be provided.
Ability to work extended hours and weekends

Parts Employee
Department: Aftermarket
Reports To: Depot Parts Manager
Supervises: None
Location: Llangefni
Responsible for the selling, receiving and delivery of parts and accessories. In addition, delivers in-store customer service, overall organizational promotional and stocking duties.
§Promotes and sells parts and/or services to meet customer needs.
§Supplies Service Technicians with parts as required.
§Assists with preparing and maintaining merchandise display.
§Verifies receipt of incoming shipments and assists with locating Machine Down and Stock Orders in their correct location.
§Follows up on shortages and accelerates issues by reporting to the Depot Parts Manager.
§Executes sales parts marketing plans and shares ideas for future campaigns.
§Executes telemarketing sales operations.
§Maintains control of inventory management, invoicing, and other administration tasks.
§Assists in keeping parts inventory clean, orderly, and well organized.
- –Competent knowledge of agricultural equipment and the farming industry
- –Ability to use standard computer applications and internet functions.
- –Excellent customer relationship skills
- –Familiar with John Deere and competitive products (Training will be provided)
